| UPI-2M has been shortlisted for WAF 2011 in category of Structural design with project CVJETNI. Also, within structural design, our team of engineers: Berislav Medic, Hrvoje Mihal, Josip Radeljic, Darko Makar and Ivan Peso envisioned use of top-down method (building from top towards ground) and moreover improved the method into top-down and up method - it implicates the existance of 2 parallel building sites at the same time: above ground and under the ground. Except innovative component, this solution reduces time and building cost.
World Architecture Festival is taking place in Barcelona from 2-4 November 2011.
UPI-2M was a double finalist of WAF 2009 and holds a winery position in category of Structural design with sport hall ARENA ZAGREB, and 2010 shortlisted for a finalist in category of OFFICE BUILDING inc.mixed use with Office building NOVIstipic.
